Our Mission
At Dink for Pink, our mission is simple: rally for a cure. We combine the fun of pickleball with the power of community, raising funds and awareness to benefit the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
My Story
Breast cancer awareness has always been deeply personal to me. My incredible mom was diagnosed at just 38, and though we were blessed with 15 more years together, we lost her far too young at 53. Her strength and spirit continue to guide me, and for the past 28 years I've been committed to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer.
In 2024, when a local fundraiser was cancelled, I knew I couldn't let the opportunity slip away. With the help of my husband, friends, and our amazing community, I launched Dink for Pink. In just two weeks, 75 players came together in pink spirit, raising $3,554 — and it was clear we'd started something special.
By our 2nd annual event in October 2025, that spirit had grown into something bigger: 130 players and $18,000 raised for the Norma Pfriem Breast Center. We're already getting ready for year 3 — together, we'll keep rallying for a cure through pickleball, community, and hope.
